Terry Bean is a former Post Commander and current Adjutant for Whitcomb-Baker Post 4633 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Hampden, Maine
Terry served in the United States Army from August 1990 through October 1993, then served in the Maine National Guard through April 1993 to 2014, retiring after 24 years of service. He served mainly as a mechanic with 590 S&S out of Ft Ord, CA, 152 Maintenance Co and 133rdEngineer Battalion in the Maine national Guard. Terry has 2 combat tours. 1990-1991 with the 590th S&S as well as 2004-2005 Iraq with the Engineer’s. Operation Ice Guard and Hurricane Katrina relief in Louisiana.
He joined the VFW in January 2005 at Post 4633 in Hampden, ME., where he grew up and maintains his Life Membership.
Terry and his wife, Eileen, reside in Otis with their two dogs, Finn and Jax. He has four adult children and two grandchildren.
